Induction Lighting replaces HID, (High Pressure Sodium, Metal Halide and Mercury Vapor), lighting with a very Efficient and Ultra Long Life light source that lasts 100,000 hours. By utilizing electromagnetic energy to excite the gas in the lamp there is no filament to burn out. Induction Lighting is very robust and operates in extreme cold, hot, wet or high vibration environments.
